Sarah Barlow-Keogh
Sarah has been with Purcell since 2013, working on a wide range of new-build architectural and conservation projects to significant Listed Buildings and Scheduled Ancient Monuments.
Taking the design management lead on a significant hotel project in central London, Sarah navigated the complex juggling of multiple work streams across a large project delivery team. The project has now gained a major planning and listed building consent for a 5-storey basement, 7-storey extension, infill courtyard, and full refurbishment of the Grade II* listed hotel.
Sarah also led the Future Programme project at Windsor Castle, focussed on the development of construction packages related to the restoration and refurbishment of historic spaces; introducing a visitor café and representing works from the Royal Collection within restored State Apartments.
Other key projects include a new build office infill building within the sensitive site of Alexandra Palace and a new swimming pool building for a private client, where Sarah was responsible for much of the initial architectural design and later construction information.
Sarah has a passion for material and construction technology and gains particular satisfaction in working through the detail to discover functional and beautiful architectural solutions to sensitive historic sites. Sarah loves working with people and aims to nurture a culture that is open, collaborative, and engaged to help deliver successful projects.
