Maria Salling

Maria joined Purcell in 2023 as a bid coordinator, having previously worked as a bid writer for a year in Manchester where she finetuned her bidding skillset.

Prior to working at Purcell, Maria supplemented her studies at Manchester Metropolitan University by working in the TV industry: a multilingual, she used her knowledge of Swedish, Danish, Norweigan, and English, to subtitle several Scandinavian television programmes. Whilst at MMU, she studied English Literature and Creative Writing before going on to complete her MA in Publishing.

Maria brings with her to Purcell a longstanding interest in design and historic environments. She is also passionate about literature and poetry, occasionally volunteering at the Poetry Archive, and has also recently started growing a vegetable and herb garden.
