Since joining Purcell, James has worked on a range of projects that explore meaningful connections between architecture and people. He developed a deeper understanding of the significance of place through his architecture degree, where he earned a RIBA Bronze Medal nomination.
He enjoys combining historic research with design and works on projects set in historic sensitive environments across various sectors. James is fascinated by the challenge of the sensitive balance between historic fabric and contemporary design solutions.
