We are looking for an exceptional architect to join our existing team to work on a range of projects on a permanent basis in our Cambridge Studio.

The successful candidate will evidence keen attention to detail and high-quality examples of work submitted with their applications. You will need to be able to display a can-do attitude, willingness to learn and understanding of Purcell’s projects and culture. We are keen to talk to architects with around 3 – 5 years post-part III qualification experience. Applicants should be skilled in the delivery of architectural projects through all workstages, with the ability to successfully lead a team. Excellent technical skills and strong design skills will be essential in this role.

We are looking for candidates who have the following skills:

  • Part 3 qualified and have3-5 years experience working as a Project Architect for a UK based practice
  • Have excellent design, drawing and presentation skills
  • Competent in technical detailing
  • Have a strong understanding of the UK Building, Planning and Listed Building regulations
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Proven experience working on all RIBA stages
  • Have ability to manage day-to-day project running independently
  • Can work successfully within a team, and to lead a team
  • Personable, confident and with a strong sense of team spirit
  • Proficiency in Revit and NBS (Chorus) would be desirable
