Brittany Chan
Brittany is an architectural assistant based in Hong Kong. She supports the team with various aspects of architectural projects, from site-related tasks and presentation preparations to intricate detail design and tender packaging. On conservation sites, Brittany is engaged in crafting preservation proposals, conducting site visits, capturing detailed site documentation through photography, and building SketchUp models to enhance project visualization.
She completed her Bachelor of Architectural Studies at The University of Hong Kong prior to starting her career in practice. During her university years, Brittany enjoyed augmenting her design skills while mastering tools such as Photoshop, Revit, V-ray, and AutoCAD. As part of her academic journey, she also embarked on a semester of exchange to Nottingham, further enriching her exposure to architectural concepts. Her driving inspiration in architecture lies in the ability to shape the spaces we inhabit. While she admires building design, it’s the broader context that fuels her architectural pursuits – the symbiotic relationship between structures and people’s daily lives, the historical context and heritage sites, as well as the intricate tapestry of a city woven from structures spanning various eras.
Beyond the architectural realm, Brittany enjoys photography, where she contributed to capturing high-quality event photos for the team in Hong Kong. Additionally, she has also been involved in coordinating social events together with the team in Australia, leveraging her organizational skills to ensure a seamless experience for all.
At this stage of her career, Brittany is enthusiastic about maximizing her learning opportunities within the team. Rooted in her belief in the potency of teamwork, she acknowledges that each team member's distinctive talents play an integral role in achieving shared success.
